Online Teller

About the position

The Online Teller position at Suncoast Credit Union involves providing real-time transaction assistance to members through video transmission via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). The role requires performing various financial transactions while ensuring compliance with credit union policies and maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate should be professional, friendly, and comfortable on camera, with opportunities for remote work after demonstrating proficient performance.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, payments, transfers, and withdrawals.

• Ensure proper endorsements and identification are obtained to follow credit union policies and procedures.
,
• Utilize various software programs concurrently to complete transactions and communicate with multiple members simultaneously.
,
• Provide a high level of professional and courteous service while observing due diligence for the validity of the transactions.

• Perform end-of-day balancing.
,
• Adhere to security, audit, and compliance requirements.
,
• Support credit union expansion by recognizing opportunities to promote products to improve the financial lives of Suncoast members.

• Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge.
,
• Complete annual BSA/AML compliance training and understand employee's role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program.
,
• Complete FACT Act Red Flag training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
,
• 6+ months of experience in customer service or a similar position.
,
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
,
• Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines.
,
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management.
,
• Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously.
,
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
