Outside Sales Representative
SealMaster is a leading company in pavement maintenance products and equipment, looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow their business in Connecticut. The role involves building strong relationships with contractors and government agencies, identifying prospects, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with pavement maintenance contractors, government agencies, and other key customers
- Identify, qualify, and engage new prospects while nurturing existing accounts
- Conduct on-site product and equipment demonstrations
- Deliver award-winning customer service and responsiveness
- Plan and organize daily sales activities to strategically develop your territory and open new accounts
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with success in municipal or contractor markets
- Outside sales experience in construction or building materials (pavement maintenance experience is a plus)
- Strong presentation skills—comfortable with public speaking and PowerPoint
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
- A motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the drive to exceed expectations
- Strong organizational and territory management abilities
- CRM proficiency and a willingness to learn SealMaster's product lines and equipment
- Confidence, integrity, and a professional presence
- License in current good standing. DOT medical card required to drive company trucks
- B2B sales: 1 year
- Willingness to travel: 75%
