Position Overview

We’re hiring a remote part-time bookkeeper to manage and reconcile our financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working independently. This role requires 4–5 hours per week, including a mandatory 1-hour bookkeeping meeting every other week.

This position pays $750/month (equivalent to approximately $43/hour). For the right candidate, there's a strong opportunity to grow into a part-time CFO role as our company expands.

Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile all accounts monthly
• Manage and organize the company’s QuickBooks Online account
• Track expenses and ensure proper categorization
• Monitor budgets and support leadership with financial insights
• Prepare basic monthly financial reports
• Join a 1-hour biweekly bookkeeping meeting with leadership
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting principles

Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet access
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident only (required)
