Part-time Dance Instructor Saturdays $18-$20/hr
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented <strong>Dance Instructor</strong> to join our team! This position involves teaching a variety of dance styles—including ballet, tap, hip-hop, and more—in a <strong>fun, inclusive, and engaging environment</strong>. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring dancers of all ages and skill levels, with a particular excitement for working with <strong>young dancers ages 3–6 </strong>for ballet, tap and hip-hop.<br><br>Position Details<br><br><ul><li>Commitment: January 5th - May 23rd, 2026.</li><li>Schedule: Saturdays (approximately 9:00am-1:00pm).
Additional weekday availability a plus. </li><li>Styles: Must be able to teach ages 3–6 in ballet/tap combo and hip-hop; ability to teach additional styles and age groups is a plus</li><li>Starting pay is $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Plan and lead dance classes for ages 3–18 as well as adults of varying skill levels</li><li>Teach proper technique and form in a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics</li><li>Develop age-appropriate lesson plans with fun and engaging activities to keep students motivated</li><li>Assess each student’s skill level and adapt teaching methods as needed</li><li>Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment for all participants</li><li>Provide individualized feedback and encouragement to help dancers improve their skills and confidence</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow instructors<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Background and/or experience in multiple dance styles, with strong knowledge of proper technique and safety guidelines</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor</li><li>Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels</li><li>Skill in creating and modifying lesson plans to meet student needs</li><li>Passion for teaching dance and inspiring growth and confidence</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic</li><li>Must pass a background check<br><br></li></ul>If you are passionate about teaching dance and helping students grow in skill and confidence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
