pspanPosition Summary/span/p
pspanThe Part-Time Spanish Guide supports Spanish language acquisition and cultural appreciation across Lower Elementary (ages 6-9), Upper Elementary (ages 9-12), and Junior High (ages 12-15) classrooms in a Montessori setting.
Working approximately 10 hours per week, the Spanish Guide shares developmentally appropriate lessons that align with Montessori principles and foster a love of language learning./span/p

lispanCollaborate with classroom guides to integrate Spanish into everyday classroom life. /span/li
lispanSupport cross-curricular connections between language and other subject areas./span/li

lispanFoster an immersive environment that encourages students to speak, listen, read, and write in Spanish. /span/li
lispanUse storytelling, music, games, movement, and cultural materials to support language development./span/li

pspanThe Spanish Guide works in a dynamic Montessori school environment that includes classrooms, common areas, offices, and outdoor spaces such as playgrounds or garden areas. The role involves regular interaction with children across multiple age groups, as well as collaboration with faculty and staff.
The environment is often lively and active, with moderate noise levels typical of educational settings. The position may require occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions when accompanying students or transitioning between activities.
