We are seeking a compassionate, motivated therapist to join our expanding team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a clinician who loves providing therapy and wants the opportunity to grow within private practice without having to manage the business side of running a practice.
Position Details
• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Fully remote position
• 8–12 clinical hours per week
• Flexible scheduling
• Referrals provided
• Competitive 65/35 fee split
• Estimated annual earnings: $31,000–$49,000 based on caseload
• Opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload over time
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about helping clients heal and is looking for an opportunity to grow within private practice.
This position is an excellent fit for a clinician who:
• Is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, or another trauma-focused modality
• Enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples
• Has experience treating complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions
• Wants to transition into private practice without the stress of marketing, credentialing, billing, or practice management
• Values clinical autonomy while having the support of an established and growing group practice
• Is seeking a part-time caseload with the potential to grow into a full-time caseload over time
• Is LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally responsive, and committed to inclusive care
• Is motivated, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment
Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults
• Provide couples counseling services
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with practice leadership as needed
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of care
• Deliver high-quality telehealth services through HIPAA-compliant platforms
Requirements
• Active independent licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent
• Licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC
• Maryland licensure preferred but not required
• Experience working with adolescents and/or couples
• Training and experience in at least one trauma-focused treatment modality
• Professional liability insurance
• Ability to maintain HIPAA-compliant telehealth services
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
