Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is one of Canada’s top performing asset managers, seeking a Payroll and Benefits Associate to join their Payroll Department. The role involves supporting payroll processing and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to general payroll and benefits inquiries from employees
  • Assist with payroll adjustments and updates in the payroll system
  • Maintain and update employee benefit information on the benefits platform
  • Support new hire onboarding for payroll and benefits forms
  • Assist with enrollment and changes in benefit plans (health, dental, life insurance, etc.)
  • Help reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate data flow between payroll and benefits
  • Assist with basic reporting
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing and year-end filings

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ability to learn payroll/benefits systems
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in payroll or benefits administration
  • Experience with any payroll system would be an asset
  • PCP certification or currently pursuing PCP designation is an asset
  • Quick adaptor to change, including maintenance of social media platforms
