As the Payroll Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading the payroll services for our newly created SAP MPS (Managed Payroll Services) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) service organization.

This role includes payroll delivery assurance with high quality operational support across various areas, but not limited to:
continuous payroll through payroll control centre

garnishments

payroll policies and payroll controls

compliance controls

payment releases

reporting to the local authorities

You will be responsible for orchestrating payroll service delivery for customers within the team and ensuring seamless execution of tasks of the payroll workbook.
As a payroll subject matter expert (SME) you will provide guidance, mentorship and training to the medior team members, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
Furthermore, this role supports defining and establishing global and local standard payroll processes as well as design, implementation, and maintenance of global payroll and HR business process standards.

Which tasks can you expect?
Support HR transformation projects focused on process optimization, technology enhancements, and improving employee experience around payroll

Support design, definition and implementation of global and local payroll process standards

Provide expertise in legal-driven process deviations and align them with global standards

Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives

Assess process deviations, determine impact, approve or reject them, and recommend solutions

Lead creation and development of the Local Target Operating Model (TOM)

Ensure implementation and adherence to global and local standards across country teams

Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process documentation

Support development of training plans and onboarding of new team members

Maintain strong communication with stakeholders (clients and country teams)

Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technologies

Act as final escalation point for complex payroll cases

Support change order management and liaise with third parties

Lead Year-End activities and statutory reporting

Conduct advanced testing and validation for system changes and releases

Qualifications and Experience :
5–8 years of experience in payroll outsourcing within a BPO environment

Strong knowledge of payroll processes, including:
payroll control centre

garnishments

payroll policies and controls

compliance and payments

reporting to local authorities

Practical experience with Employee Central Payroll and payroll control centre

Experience working with multinational clients

Knowledge of SLA and KPI reporting

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Ability to work under pressure and ensure high client satisfaction

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Fluent English and local language (written and spoken)

Preferred Skills
Experience in payroll and BPO outsourcing environment

Experience with:
SAP SuccessFactors

SAP Payroll

Concur

Workforce Management

integration tools

Experience with payroll interfaces (inbound/outbound)

Certifications such as CPP, CPS or CPM

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement
