You Will:

  • Provide essential and family-centered care, including comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatments, medical management, health counseling, and behavioral health support.
  • Manage administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient development, insurance verification, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Be responsible for coordinating patient appointments and conducting triage assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Perform duties including patient education on healthy lifestyle choices, performing demonstrations to assess and treat injuries or illnesses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a cohesive care plan.
  • Encourage patients to be active participants in their healthcare and wellness through services like health screenings, social wellness, and chronic disease management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care, including accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, medical management, health counseling, and behavioral health support.
  • Administer vaccinations and injections (including COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent education.
  • Minimum of two years of restorative relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the Spot certification test within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) contingent upon market needs.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED proficiency.
  • Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior student precepting experience with MinuteClinic (within the past year).

Education:

  • Graduate-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Accreditation and state licensure to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Or, in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related graduate degree or comparable experience with a four-year science degree in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board certification and state licensure to practice in the role.
