Print Configuration Administrator
The Print Configuration Administrator is primarily responsible for managing the relationship with print vendors to monitor quality, timeliness, reconcile costs, approve invoices and look for continuous ways to improve process efficiencies and cost savings. This individual will also work internally to review client requirements and configure, create and design templates for printing.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors by communicating with them frequently to ensure they are meeting contract requirements
- Monitor daily volume capacity; manage vendor printer and resource needs for current and forecasted requirements
- Evaluate vendor costs and champion cost savings initiatives with vendors
- Troubleshoot and solution all vendor risks and escalate as needed
- Build reports and write technical requirements for system and portal enhancements related to membership information cards
- Review, configure, develop and test print templates and files in Delta Dental's systems and vendor portals to meet client requirements
- Audit and reconcile vendor invoices; obtain approvals for payments to be issued
- Support the monitoring and review of vendor performance guarantees, including audit and tracking activities as needed
- Serves as the primary point of expertise and provides guidance related to the print configuration process; provide process training, knowledge transfer, and guidance to cross-functional partners and back-up support as a primary point of expertise
- Maintain internal process efficiencies for workflow
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience w/Bachelor’s degree
- Vendor management experience preferred
- Detail-orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop, implement and maintain analytical tools and models
- Ability to prioritize and manage duties in order to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to effectively adapt to change and be comfortable handling risk and uncertainty
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of printing systems and requirements; ability to troubleshoot and work with IT when problems arise
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
