They are seeking a Processing Team Assistant to join their Brokerage Receivables team, responsible for creating reports, monitoring receipts, and ensuring accurate trade processing.

Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute daily P& L reports to brokers and desk heads
  • Research and analyze for inquiries from the desk and brokers as well as internal departments
  • Monitor, investigate and allocate brokerage receipts to the correct client accounts
  • Deposit checks and keep record of bank items; input manual credits
  • Confirm trade amendments, obtain appropriate authorization and pass for correction (e.g. prior month trade amendment, error trades, broker to broker adjustments, trade difference)
  • Uploading/approving daily & monthly manual inputs to internal revenue systems
  • Being involved in the support, reconciliation and development of the system migrations
  • Setting up client groups, locations, and mappings for source systems
  • Improve controls and efficiencies in processes
  • Ensure trades statics are set up correctly and trades are processed correctly through liaising with the brokers, CSMs, Controls-Revenue, IT, Projects team
  • Setting up and updating broker statics, cross references and setting up cost centers
  • Monitor trade feeds and clear exceptions
  • Reconcile monthly reports

Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office: Word, Outlook, and excellent Excel skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting required
  • Good attention to detail
