                                            Sourcing Specialist 
Location: Spain

As a Sourcing Specialist EMENA, you will help secure reliable, responsible, and cost effective supply for key materials that support our customers and our production sites. You will play a critical role in supplier selection, risk reduction, commercial negotiation, and cross functional collaboration across our global network. 
 
Responsibilities

Cost Savings & Terms Improvement

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using spend analysis, cost models, RFPs, and market intelligence. Strengthening supplier relationships, lead negotiations to secure improved terms, and monitor performance through reporting. 
 Risk Management for Business Continuity
  • Identify and assess operational, quality risks, implement mitigation and contingency plans and establish alternative suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply. 
  Spend Analytics & Data Management
  • Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities, track cost performance, and support forecasting. Maintain market intelligence, monitor trends, and use structured data to guide procurement decisions. 
  Supplier Management
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with local and global suppliers, resolve quality, pricing, and delivery issues, oversee contract management, and implement alternative sourcing strategies while ensuring accurate updates in SAP and related systems. 
  Market Evaluation
  • Monitor market conditions impacting raw materials, update internal teams on forecast changes, and participate in global procurement discussions and negotiations to ensure alignment and competitive outcomes. 

ISO Compliance

  • Ensure supplier audits qualify and evaluate suppliers in accordance with ISO requirements to maintain quality, environmental, and safety compliance. 
What You Bring 
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, market analysis and financial principles

    Strong analytical skills with proven ability to manage and interpret data Excel - Advanced  Mandatory

    Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Administration, Economics, or a related field

    36 years of experience in manufacturing environments, ideally in sourcing or procurement

    Solid experience in contract management and commercial negotiations

    Good understanding of supply chain processes

    Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

    Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams with high collaboration and integrity.

    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

    Strong IT skills, including MS Office, Business Intelligence tools, and SAP.
