Product Agronomist
Come join our team! The Product Agronomist is responsible for planning and conducting product evaluation trials that support advancement, positioning and lifecycle decisions. This position helps support product demand planning and execution. The product agronomists collaborate with local sales teams to deliver product training and technical support that improve sales execution and customer profitability.
Product Evaluation and Life Cycle Management
Document Pioneer product performance through field observations and data collection.
Collect, analyze and interpret product performance to support positioning and advancement decisions.
Help coordinate evaluation trials (IMPACT or equivalent) and report results.
Connect field sales and research to translate local insights into priorities.
Lead GAP Analysis and recommend actions to improve portfolio competitiveness.
Represent the district in advancement discussions and decisions.
Introduce new products with clear positioning, placement guidance, and key messages.
Guide teams on product direction, lifecycle transitions, and retirements.
Technical Product Training
Deliver technical training on product characteristics and positioning.
Partner with Field Agronomists to align content and reinforce recommendations.
Sales Support
Resolve escalated customer product-performance concerns.
Support priority sales calls with technical expertise and trial insights.
Individual Accountability
Model Corteva Core Values and collaborate to deliver results.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree in Agronomy or equivalent is preferred.
Five to seven years’ experience in agronomy and proven abilities.
Must reside within the geography supported by the role

The salary range for this position is $ to $.This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
