Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Location: Remote (US)

Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday

Contract Duration: May 11, 2026 – September 11, 2026 (~18 weeks)

Availability Requirement: Full contract commitment required (dates are fixed)

This is a temporary contract position lasting approximately 18 weeks, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate must be available for the entire duration, as the role is designed to provide continuous coverage during a planned leave of absence.

This role executes across the Product Marketing function, working closely with and under the strategic direction of the VP of Marketing. You will keep Opus1's go-to-market engine running by maintaining ongoing marketing programs, coordinating and executing product and feature launches, and building content assets that communicate Opus1's value to its ICP. You'll serve as a reliable, high-output operator who keeps pace with a fast-moving product team, ensures the website and sales content stay accurate and compelling, and makes sure every release reaches the right audience with the right message.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on B2B marketer (4–7 years) who thrives in execution mode. You can take a brief and run with it, manage multiple work streams without dropping the ball, and produce clean, polished content with minimal back-and-forth. You're a strong writer, comfortable leveraging AI, a natural project manager, and a collaborative partner to Product, Sales, and Demand Gen. You're comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities shift, timelines are tight, and ownership is real. Experience with or enthusiasm for music and performance arts education is a plus.

This role will be responsible for...

  • Supporting Tier 1 product and feature launches by partnering with Product and the VP of Marketing to develop positioning and key value propositions, execute go-to-market plans, coordinate asset production, and manage timelines across stakeholders

Owning weekly product release communications including gathering and confirming updates with Product, drafting website, email, and social copy, and coordinating distribution with RevOps and the website agency

Maintaining and updating the website to ensure content is accurate and competitive, including managing landing pages, competitor/comparison pages, and contributing to ongoing content development (blogs, customer stories, company news)

Building and maintaining Sales and Customer Success enablement materials such as one-pagers, decks, email templates, and product education content in partnership with Product and CX

You’re a strong fit for this role if you...

    • Bring 3–6 years of marketing experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines

Write clearly, efficiently, and with a strong sense of audience and purpose

Take initiative and operate independently, proactively identifying and resolving blockers

Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and adapt quickly as priorities shift

Are curious and proactive about using AI tools to improve content quality and speed

Bonus points for candidates who have…

      • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

A passion or enthusiasm for music and performance arts education

        What This Role Is Not

This is an execution-focused role. You’ll succeed if you’re comfortable working within a defined strategy while identifying opportunities to improve how things get done. This role is not responsible for:

Setting ICP strategy, messaging architecture, or brand positioning (owned by the VP of Marketing)

Defining launch strategy or channel prioritization independently; you will execute against established direction

Conducting deep competitive or market analysis beyond maintaining and updating existing materials

If you’re looking to own high-level strategy or build a function from scratch, this role won’t be the right fit. If you’re excited to sharpen execution skills, build a strong body of work, and contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven team, it’s a great opportunity.

        Key Cross-Functional Partners

        • VP of Marketing: Strategic direction, positioning, and launch approvals

Sales & Customer Success: Enablement and competitive materials

RevOps & Website Agency: Content distribution and website updates

          Travel Requirements:

This role requires mandatory travel for company events. Candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed, including air travel.

          Benefits at Opus1
