Production Coodinator
Giant Tiger is a Canadian retailer dedicated to helping customers save more every day. They are seeking a Production Coordinator to provide production and sourcing information, execute product development, and ensure quality standards are met for private label products.
Responsibilities
- Provide production and sourcing related information to key stakeholders - both internal and external
- Work with Sourcing Manager/Sourcing Partners to find new and innovative products
- Execute product development to ensure that all products meet quality standards
- Deliver product development on time, adhering to the critical path and key milestones
- Execute with internal/external resources artwork/packaging for all globally sourced private label products
Skills
- Equivalent of a post-secondary degree/diploma in related field
- 1 - 2 years + work experience, preferably in sourcing, product development, project management within hardgoods, softgoods or grocery retail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiar working in PLM environment
- Well developed organizational skills with ability to set priorities, multi-task and perform under deadline pressures
- Well developed problem solving skills
- High level of self management and ability to collaborate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual English and French
- Understand retail related financial math
