Tria Federal is seeking a Program Manager to support a large-scale Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Infrastructure Operations initiative focused on Application Hosting, Compute & Storage services. This effort supports mission-critical VA enterprise systems and operational environments across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure ecosystems.

The Program Manager will lead enterprise infrastructure operations supporting cloud operations, enterprise hosting, compute environments, virtualization, enterprise storage operations, disaster recovery, operational sustainment, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will possess deep experience managing large federal operational environments with strong background supporting hybrid cloud operations, enterprise infrastructure sustainment, operational governance, and large-scale technical delivery programs.

Basic Requirements

Program Manager responsible for leading enterprise infrastructure operations supporting hybrid cloud hosting, compute, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization initiatives within large federal enterprise environments.Experience supporting enterprise Infrastructure Operations environments within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other large federal agencies.

Experience managing large operational support contracts supporting:

Enterprise hosting services

Cloud operations

Infrastructure sustainment

Virtualization operations

Enterprise storage environments

Disaster recovery operations

Operational modernization initiatives

Experience managing hybrid cloud operational environments leveraging AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenShift, and enterprise virtualization technologies.

Experience leading operational governance activities including:

SLA/KPI management

Executive reporting

Risk management

Operational reviews

Transition planning

Customer engagement

Cross-functional coordination

Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity and compliance initiatives including:

RMF

NIST 800-53

FedRAMP

Continuous monitoring

Vulnerability remediation

Audit readiness

 

Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams supporting 24/7/365 operational environments.

Fifteen (15) years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations with at least ten (10) years managing large federal infrastructure or operational support programs.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead executive briefings, customer engagements, operational governance meetings, and cross-functional technical discussions.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

Preferred certifications:

PMP

ITIL

SAFe Agilist

AWS or Azure certifications

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise Application Hosting / Compute & Storage operations supporting mission-critical VA enterprise systems and infrastructure environments.

Oversee operational delivery supporting:

Enterprise hosting

Cloud operations

Compute operations

Enterprise storage

Virtualization

Disaster recovery

Operational sustainment

Infrastructure modernization

Manage operational governance activities including:

SLA/KPI tracking

Risk management

Program reporting

Incident escalation

Operational reviews

Customer engagement

Executive communications

Coordinate cross-functional teams supporting:

Linux and Windows server administration

VMware and OpenShift operations

Enterprise cloud operations

Storage and backup operations

Automation and DevSecOps initiatives

Cybersecurity compliance activities

 

Support transition planning, modernization initiatives, and operational optimization efforts aligned with VA enterprise infrastructure goals.

Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and operational requirements including RMF, NIST, FedRAMP, VA Directive 6500, and Zero Trust initiatives.

Support infrastructure modernization initiatives leveraging automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud transformation, and enterprise operational resiliency practices.

Collaborate with customer leadership, engineering teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, and operational support personnel to ensure successful delivery of enterprise operational services.
