Your Role

As a Project Architect, it’s your job to lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled sports and entertainment projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through to build. 

In this position, you will collaborate with our Design Directors and Practice Area Leader on a variety of exciting sports developments. You will produce technical documentation and communicate project progress to team members to ensure success. You’re a fit for this role if you have experience in Sports project’s conception and construction documentation, are proficient in Revit, and enjoy working with a team of architects/ designers that bring design dreams to life.  This is a good role for someone who is technically proficient and enjoys working with a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.

What You Will Do
An integral part of the design team that leads towards a cohesive and rational design solution which conforms to the project brief and is technically, legally and financially responsible.
Manage communication and lead coordination between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants
Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions
Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks
Responsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality
Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs
Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
Based on a very good understanding of local and national codes, be able to guide the team to design in alignment with the requirements.
Mentoring and coaching junior team members
Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of project
Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Design Manager
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships through successful project delivery
Participation in business development effort
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Your Qualifications
Australian Registered Architect
12+ years of relevant experience in delivering sport stadium, training facilities and entertainment venue
Strong understanding of local and national codes
Shown proven track records in delivering sports & relevant projects from concept design through to construction completion.
Expert working knowledge of Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software 
Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization, and client relationship management skills 
Well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future
