Project Coordinator
Improvix Technologies is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our federal government customer. This role involves day-to-day program execution, coordination activities, and compliance tracking while working closely with senior technical and program leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day project operations and task tracking
- Assist in scheduling recurring meetings, strategy discussions, and team tag-ups
- Maintain project documentation, action items, delivery schedules, and status updates
- Help coordinate communication across team members and ensure visibility for relevant stakeholders
- Provide support on compliance-driven tasks, as assigned by technical leadership
- Assist in documentation related to security frameworks, with exposure to evolving compliance requirements
- Help ensure that required compliance activities are properly tracked, documented, and communicated
- Work collaboratively with technical leads and engineers to gather information, document activities, and understand project impacts
- Engage with the PM, deputy leadership, and technical SMEs to ensure alignment across operational and compliance efforts
- Provide logistical and coordination support to ensure the team remains organized and on schedule
- Develop a foundational understanding of security/compliance concepts as they relate to project operations
- Support a fast‑moving team that values mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Take on increasing responsibility as you grow into the role and develop technical familiarity
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, communications, project management, IT, or related)
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, compliance support, operations, or related fields
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to track tasks, manage meeting flows, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- Interest in learning project management and compliance/security concepts
- Comfort working in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment
- Exposure to technical environments, government programs, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with basic project management tools (e.g., Jira, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
