Improvix Technologies is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our federal government customer. This role involves day-to-day program execution, coordination activities, and compliance tracking while working closely with senior technical and program leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day project operations and task tracking
  • Assist in scheduling recurring meetings, strategy discussions, and team tag-ups
  • Maintain project documentation, action items, delivery schedules, and status updates
  • Help coordinate communication across team members and ensure visibility for relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support on compliance-driven tasks, as assigned by technical leadership
  • Assist in documentation related to security frameworks, with exposure to evolving compliance requirements
  • Help ensure that required compliance activities are properly tracked, documented, and communicated
  • Work collaboratively with technical leads and engineers to gather information, document activities, and understand project impacts
  • Engage with the PM, deputy leadership, and technical SMEs to ensure alignment across operational and compliance efforts
  • Provide logistical and coordination support to ensure the team remains organized and on schedule
  • Develop a foundational understanding of security/compliance concepts as they relate to project operations
  • Support a fast‑moving team that values mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Take on increasing responsibility as you grow into the role and develop technical familiarity

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, communications, project management, IT, or related)
  • 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, compliance support, operations, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to track tasks, manage meeting flows, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Interest in learning project management and compliance/security concepts
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment
  • Exposure to technical environments, government programs, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with basic project management tools (e.g., Jira, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
