Property Management Support | Revela Platform | Hourly | Remote

About This Role

We are a property management services company using Revela — a comprehensive property management platform similar to AppFolio — to support rental property owners across their day-to-day operations. We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Virtual Assistant who will serve a dual function: acting as a platform Super Admin with full back-office access to Revela, and as a hands-on operational VA who helps property owners manage the real-world demands of their rentals.

This is not a purely administrative role. You will be the operational hub connecting property owners, tenants, vendors, and platform tasks. One hour you may be reconciling owner statements; the next you will be coordinating an emergency plumber. You need to be comfortable moving fluidly between software tasks and real-world coordination.

What You Will Do

Platform Administration (Revela Super Admin)

•Manage and maintain the Revela platform on behalf of multiple property owners

• Set up and configure owner accounts, properties, and units within the system

• Onboard new property owners and train them on how to use Revela effectively

• Troubleshoot platform issues and serve as the first point of contact for owner questions related to system functionality

• Manage user permissions, roles, and access settings across the platform

• Ensure data accuracy across all property records, lease terms, and financial entries

Accounting & Bookkeeping Support

• Enter and categorize income and expenses within Revela

• Reconcile owner ledgers and assist with monthly financial reporting

• Process rent payments, late fees, and security deposit transactions

• Prepare and send owner statements and financial summaries

• Flag discrepancies and escalate accounting issues as needed

Leasing & Tenant Management

• Post property listings and manage marketing within Revela

• Review and process rental applications; communicate with prospective tenants

• Track lease expirations, renewals, and move-in/move-out dates

• Manage tenant communications regarding lease terms, payments, and notices

Maintenance Coordination

• Receive and log maintenance requests from tenants in the Revela system

• Assign work orders and coordinate with vendors and contractors

• Follow up on open maintenance tickets to ensure timely resolution

• Source and vet vendors (plumbers, electricians, handymen, etc.) as needed

• Keep property owners informed on maintenance status and costs

General VA & Owner Support

• Serve as a responsive point of contact for property owners via email, phone, or messaging

• Draft correspondence including tenant notices, lease addenda, and vendor communications

• Manage calendars, scheduling, and follow-up tasks on behalf of owners

• Assist with document management and record keeping

• Support property owners with ad hoc operational tasks as they arise

Who You Are

• Experience as a Virtual Assistant, Property Manager, or Operations Coordinator — ideally in real estate or property management

• Hands-on experience with a property management platform such as AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Rent Manager, or similar — experience with Revela is a strong plus

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and property management accounting

• Strong communicator: professional written and verbal English is essential

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple property owners and competing priorities simultaneously

• Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative without waiting to be asked

• Comfortable coordinating with vendors, contractors, and tenants directly

• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software tools and workflows

• Reliable, responsive, and available during agreed working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a super admin or back-office manager in a property management platform

• Familiarity with U.S. residential property management practices and standards

• Experience onboarding and training non-technical users on software platforms

• Background in real estate, property management, or residential leasing

Engagement Details

• Hourly — ongoing, part-time to full-time depending on workload: Contract Type

• Availability: Must be available to respond to time-sensitive matters (maintenance emergencies, etc.) within agreed response windows:

• Location: while fully remote — candidates need to be on similar to US business hours
