They are seeking a Purchasing Project Assistant to provide project management and departmental support, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team while meeting project goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Compass data entry. Process buyout Purchase Orders, EZparts, components website orders, manage backlog, generate customer PO’s and other divisional or departmental specific documents
  • Assist with reporting: BI, Compass, expense, Project Review, and Claims/SR’s
  • Process invoicing, receiving, and match holds
  • Organize department meetings, events, and meals, make travel arrangements and conference registrations, etc
  • Provide administrative assistance by ordering department supplies, updating phone list, Org chart, SharePoint, and document center
  • Issue warranties
  • Purchase orders to suppliers, invoice approvals, preparing accurate backlog and making system adjustments for project reviews, organizing food/drink for department meetings/events
  • Processing credits & SRs within allotted timeframes
  • Maintaining budget for office related expenses & purchases

Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree, 2-year technical degree, or office management certificate
