Python Developer for Web Dev & AI Workflow

I'm a founder building a feature rich SaaS product and looking for a Python developer to help me ship faster. You'll work directly with me on real features and projects; not tickets in a vacuum.

The ideal person is comfortable owning a feature end to end, has an eye for clean front-end work, and already uses AI tools to move quickly.

What you'll do:

Build and maintain features in Python/Flask backed by Supabase

Deploy and iterate on Google Cloud Run

Write clean, maintainable front-end code (vanilla JS / Alpine.js, HTML, CSS)

Turn rough specs and ideas into working, shipped features

Help maintain and improve existing codebases across multiple projects

What I'm looking for:

Strong Python and Flask experience

Comfort with Supabase/Postgres (or willingness to ramp quickly)

Solid Git workflow and the ability to work independently

AI-native: you use tools like Claude in your day-to-day development and know where they help vs. where they don't

Clear communicator who can self-direct and flag blockers early

Nice to have:

Web design / strong front-end sensibility (layout, UI polish, making things look good, not just functional)

Experience deploying to Cloud Run or similar serverless platforms

Familiarity with lightweight stacks and shipping lean

Hours per week

Less than 30 hrs/week; flexible ("10–20 hrs/week to start, with room to grow")

We'll start with a small paid trial task before moving to ongoing work, so we can both see if it's a good fit.
