Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Test Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in web application testing and a strong, demonstrable background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will be embedded within an agile delivery team responsible for validating AEM Cloud-based components, page templates, front-end rendering, forms, and content authoring workflows across sprint, SIT, and UAT cycles.
 
Key Responsibilities
•                     Design, write, and execute test cases for AEM Cloud components, page templates, content fragments, experience fragments, and DAM assets against agreed acceptance criteria
•                     Validate front-end rendering across browsers and devices — layout, typography, responsive behaviour, and component interactions
•                     Ensure user stories have clear, testable acceptance criteria — challenge assumptions and work with developers and product owners to clarify expected behaviour before sprint start
•                     Execute AEM Author and Publish environment testing — page creation, component dialogue validation, content publishing workflows, and replication
•                     Validate AEM Forms — field validation, submission behaviour, and error handling
•                     Support SIT execution — produce test approach documentation, execute test runs, and deliver written sign-off reports
•                     Support Client UAT — assist in test plan preparation, coordinate test execution, and track defect resolution to closure
•                     Validate build stability across AEM Cloud staging and production environments
•                     Raise, triage, and manage defects in JIRA with clear reproducible steps, screenshots, severity classification (P1–P4), and risk assessment
•                     Contribute to deployment and release readiness — smoke testing, production validation, and post go-live monitoring
•                     Participate in sprint ceremonies — planning, reviews, and retrospectives
•                     Maintain test documentation in Confluence throughout the project lifecycle
•                     Must be able perform feature reviews during sprint demos.
 
Required Skills & Experience
•                     4–5 years of QA/testing experience on web projects
•                     Hands-on experience testing AEM-based websites on AEM Cloud — components, dialogs, page templates, DAM, content fragments, experience fragments, and page properties
•                     Strong front-end testing skills — cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive layout validation
•                     Experience validating AEM Author workflows — page creation, editing, publishing, and replication
•                     Experience testing AEM Forms — adaptive forms, field validation, and submission flows
•                     Familiarity with AEM page-level SEO properties — meta tags, canonical URLs, robots settings
•                     Experience with JIRA for defect management; Confluence for test documentation
•                     Solid understanding of agile/scrum delivery — sprint testing, SIT, and UAT cycles
•                     ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent
•                     Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Nice to Have
•                     Experience validating Adobe Launch / analytics tag implementation
•                     Exposure to accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1 standards
•                     Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools including GitHub Copilot for test case generation and script authoring
•                     Exposure to AI-augmented SDLC practices — using AI tooling across test planning, defect triage, and test script generation
•                     Willingness to adopt and champion AI-first testing approaches within the delivery team
•                     Ability to speak German.
