QA Tester - Batch/Data Migration

100% Remote

Our client is seeking a QA Tester to support data migration and batch processing validation efforts as part of a legacy system modernization initiative. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and quality during the migration of mainframe data to modern cloud and PostgreSQL environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Validate data cleansing, transformation, and deduplication results
• Perform data reconciliation between DB2 and PostgreSQL environments
• Test batch processing jobs replacing legacy COBOL/JCL workflows
• Validate downstream data integrations feeding Salesforce and reporting systems
• Execute data quality, migration, and regression testing to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Document test results, defects, and reconciliation findings

Required Skills
• Strong SQL and data validation expertise
• Experience with batch processing, ETL, and data migration testing
• Knowledge of database reconciliation and data quality validation techniques
• Experience supporting legacy-to-cloud modernization initiatives
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($55-60/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
