Quality Lead Inspector
MBRAUN Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of high-end technology solutions located in Stratham & Newmarket, New Hampshire. They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Lead Inspector to join their growing team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and readiness of all materials and assemblies while also handling warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Candidate should have a high level of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Inspection experience and verification. Coordinate-Measuring Machine / Vision system experience recommended
- Candidate should be comfortable performing complex inspections and providing explanation as required to end customer or customer representative on-site
- Verification of Supplier First Article Inspection results. Secondary inspections of critical characteristic to correlate with the supplier documentation
- Inspection of complex fabricated and machined parts using measuring equipment including, but not limited to calipers, profilometers, durometers, helium leak detecting equipment; and documenting the results
- Creating and processing nonconformance reports to the extent as directed by the Quality Manager
- Compiling technical documentation and material certification for government orders (or other orders as required)
- Assisting the Quality Manager in all areas of the Quality Management System
- Compliance with ISO9001 and NQA-1 procedures and operating instructions
- General Glovebox / Purifier pre-assembly
- Any other duties required for the position
- Receive, unload, and verify accuracy of incoming shipments
- Process inventory transactions in ERP system (Navision)
- Pull, stage, and organize materials to support production and assembly
- Perform cycle counts, spot checks, and maintain accurate stock levels
- Package, stage, and prepare system shipments for delivery
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (training provided if needed)
- Drive company vehicles for material pickup and delivery (DOT certification or ability to obtain required)
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High level of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Inspection experience and verification
- Verification of Supplier First Article Inspection results
- Inspection of complex fabricated and machined parts using measuring equipment
- Creating and processing nonconformance reports
- Compliance with ISO9001 and NQA-1 procedures and operating instructions
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license; ability to obtain DOT certification required
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical documents, specifications, and BOMs
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or quality control preferred (will train the right candidate)
- DOT certification or ability to obtain DOT certification
- Ability to use hand and power tools (experience preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ERP software experience a plus
- Fork truck experience a plus, but not required (must be willing to learn)
- Forklift experience a plus (training provided)
