React Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Lead the evolution of web app architecture and infrastructure for a mission-critical maritime application.

• Design and implement architectural patterns, tools, and best practices for component, page, service, and app development.

• Drive improvements in developer experience and infrastructure by proactively identifying pain points and opportunities.

• Collaborate across the full stack, including front-end, back-end, build processes, and CI/CD.

• Mentor fellow engineers on best practices and effective use of development tools.

• Develop new applications and segment existing ones into more focused user experiences.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

• Substantial experience building production web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.

• Proven ability to design architectural patterns and tooling, and lead teams in their adoption.

• Experience integrating various tools and libraries into front-end codebases and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with modern backend languages like Go, C++, or Rust.

• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
