DeepLearning.AI is seeking an AI-forward Recruiter to support their Lead Recruiter and build a world-class talent engine. This role focuses on tactical recruiting execution, utilizing advanced AI tools to enhance the recruitment process and improve candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • With assistance from our AI systems, source and engage technical candidates across AI/ML, data science, software engineering, and full-stack development
  • With AI assistance, screen inbound applicants and coordinate next steps with the Lead Recruiter
  • Help host in-person recruiting events to engage candidates across the AI community
  • Manage assigned pipelines from sourcing → screening → coordination → close
  • Draft outreach messages, schedule interviews, and maintain timely communication
  • Support offer logistics and negotiation
  • Extensively use our custom GenAI tools to accelerate sourcing, candidate research, screening, and automation of multiple steps of the recruiting workflow
  • Experiment with new AI tools and continually refine how we recruit
  • Serve as a domain expert on recruiting pain points and priorities
  • Test new AI recruiting tool prototypes and provide feedback
  • Suggest features and improvements that will accelerate recruiting
  • Help the team develop playbooks and best practices for AI-enabled recruiting
  • Ensure clear, warm, and timely communication for all candidates
  • Represent DeepLearning.AI’s brand and mission with professionalism and authenticity
  • Keep ATS pipelines (Lever) clean, organized, and up to date
  • Track recruiting metrics and surface insights that improve speed and quality
  • Contribute to templates, checklists, and workflows that keep recruiting running smoothly

Skills

  • 1–3+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent coordination
  • Hands-on experience hiring technical talent (AI/ML, DS, SWE, or full-stack)
  • Strong sourcing skills using a variety of information sources, such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience managing multiple pipelines and coordinating across stakeholders
  • GenAI-Forward: You regularly use AI tools to improve your work, and are eager to keep honing your AI skills
  • Technical understanding: You can understand engineering roles well enough to screen effectively
  • Detail-oriented: You keep well-organized pipelines, notes, and follow-through
  • Collaborative: You enjoy partnering with both recruiting and engineering teams
  • Work ethic and ownership: You take initiative, and will work very hard to accomplish meaningful objectives
  • Basic ability to write code (including using AI to write code for you)
  • Experience specifically recruiting AI talent
  • Expertise with AI technology
  • Familiarity with Lever or similar ATS tools
