Recruitment Assistant
Recruiter- Half Day Role

We are a leading software company and are in need of building a virtual bench for our ever-expanding team as well as fulfilling very unique roles. As an internal recruiter, you will be responsible to source, screen and find top talent for our business as well as start building a strong bench.

Key deliverables
Source candidates through LinkedIn recruiter and other sources, limiting use of recruitment agencies and driving recruitment cost down.
Conduct telephonic screening of candidate CV's and forward to HR manager.
Assist in scheduling interviews.
Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate.
Scheduling assessments.
Scheduling reference, criminal, credit checks.
Send regret emails to unsuccessful candidates.
Continuously building the talent pipeline via LinkedIn and other recruitment sources directly.
Report to HR on the status of open positions.
Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Skills, competencies & abilities
Proven work experience as a Recruiter
Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and CV databases
Ability to write and deliver creative job adverts
Experience in using LinkedIn or other recruitment channels to source candidates directly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
Able to multitask
Education & qualifications
Matric certificate – non-negotiable
Ideally a Diploma or degree
Details of experience
2+ years' experience in full recruitment process, ideally focusing on IT and Financial services
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High level of spoken and written English
