Job Description:
• Act as the regional finance lead and primary point of contact between central finance teams and local operations.
• Serve as the connective point between Group Accounting, Tax, Finance Operations, and in-region stakeholders.
• Provide financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders, using data-driven analysis to support decision-making.
• Own and coordinate the month-end close for your region in partnership with the central accounting team.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across regional entities.
• Manage local statutory reporting and compliance requirements, including local GAAP, tax, VAT/sales tax, and regulatory filings.
• Support alignment between local reporting requirements and group reporting standards under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Oversee the integrity of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and key financial controls.
• Coordinate and support external audits and local statutory audits, acting as the main point of contact for auditors where applicable.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place and continuously strengthened as the business scales.
• Partner with operational teams to translate business activity into accurate financial treatment, including leases, revenue recognition, cost allocations, and capitalisation policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting at a regional or cost-centre level alongside Finance Operations and operational leaders.
• Identify gaps between local operational realities and group processes, and proactively solve issues.
• Improve processes to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements:
• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent credentials
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, with experience in local GAAP and statutory reporting
• Experience operating in a multi-entity, international environment
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Comfortable acting as the glue between centralised finance functions and local operational teams
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical accounting matters into clear business implications
• Confident communicator in English, both written and verbal
• Proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable making decisions in an evolving scale-up environment
