Relationship Manager
What You’ll Own
As a part-time, fully remote Relationship Manager, you’ll guide Woven Legal client engagements and support Virtual Legal Professionals (VLPs) so both sides thrive over the full lifecycle. You’ll act as a trusted advisor—spotting risks early, strengthening collaboration, and helping engagements grow in scope and value.
Key responsibilities include owning assigned client relationships; running regular check-ins and capturing feedback; recommending best practices for remote workflows, legal ops, and technology; handling scope updates, contract changes, and offboarding documentation; partnering with the Placement Team on onboarding; maintaining accurate CRM records; supporting invoicing as needed; and delivering monthly engagement reports with strategic recommendations.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Strong relationship-building, organization, and follow-through
- High emotional intelligence and a consultative communication style
- Comfort navigating sensitive issues and escalating appropriately
- Experience supporting clients and/or contractors in service-based work

A Typical Day
You’ll start by reviewing your engagement dashboard and messages, then map out priorities across clients and VLPs. Midday is often a mix of short video calls and focused admin time—capturing notes, updating systems, and preparing a crisp follow-up plan for each conversation. You’ll shift between coaching-style conversations and calm, practical problem-solving, keeping communication clear and timely. Later, you’ll pull key trends for your monthly reporting, flag patterns that could affect retention, and draft a few recommendations to share internally. You’ll wrap up by confirming next steps, aligning on timelines, and ensuring everyone involved knows what “good” looks like for the week ahead.
