[Remote] Accounting & Admin Specialist (Part-Time)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 7G Environmental Compliance Management is seeking a Part-Time Accounting & Admin Specialist to support their financial operations. The role involves managing financial data, including data entry, reconciliation, and assisting with accounts receivable and payable tasks.
Responsibilities
- Keeping our records clean and current
- Managing expenses and ensuring accounts align perfectly
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks
- Reading and interpreting the General Ledger and P&L statements
Skills
- High School Diploma required
- Proven proficiency in Quickbooks (Online or Desktop) and Google Sheets/Excel
- Ability to distinguish between different types of accounts and understand how transactions flow into a General Ledger and P&L statement
- Previous experience managing expense reports or reconciling bank/credit card statements
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of the organization
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing one)
- Minimum 1-2 year of experience preferred
- Software Savvy: Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel is a must
- Accounting Basics: Real-world experience with QuickBooks
- Financial Literacy: Comfortable with P&L statements, expense management, and reading a General Ledger
- Detail-Oriented: Spot the tiny errors others miss
