A. General Information

Position:    Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Department:    Clinical

Status: Exempt/Non-Exempt

Part Time to Full Time (Gradual Transition)

B.    Job Summary 

The BCBA is a member of the clinical staff and is responsible for providing professional services including evaluations and treatments, counseling of parent and family units, networking, and other professionals.  He/she is detail-oriented, dependable, has excellent clinical competence and clinical judgment, excels at working in a multidisciplinary team environment, and supports the vision of the company.

C.    Reporting Relationships

Reports Directly To: ABA Program Manager     

Reports Indirectly To: Vice President of Clinical Programs  

Directly Supervises: BCaBA and ABA Program Supervisor

Indirectly Supervises: Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technician 

D.    Essential Functions

Assumes responsibility for the physical safety of the client

Ensures program effectiveness through active participation in overlaps, regular audits of session notes, taking IOA data, and completing performance books 

Makes programmatic adjustments in accordance with CSLOT’s policies

Oversees and monitors the intake and continuing assessment process

Plans, manages, coordinates, and evaluates assigned staff efforts to achieve clinical goals and objectives 

Conduct client assessments

Provides direct services to the clients and their parents, when appropriate

Maintains data regarding clients’ progress

Provides training and supervision of behavior program staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians 

Provides training on behavior to CSLOT staff

Responsible for recording data and reporting client status to payor sources

Prepares annual report regarding program effectiveness

Update Central Reach Calendar daily (illustrating all overlaps/ parent meetings/ team meetings, etc.)

Update Caseload Document daily (i.e., used hours, unused hours, direct hours, indirect hours)

Convert appointments on Central Reach daily

Provides the total number of hours approved for each client monthly 

Perform staff training, interviews, onboarding, and participate in reviews for program staff

Will work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office setting (when appropriate)

Follow CSLOT’s cancellation and make-up policy

Understand all CSLOT’s payor source services and authorizations

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

E.    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

REQUIRED

Minimum Education/Experience:    Master's Degree in a field related to Child Psychology, Behavior, etc.

    Eighteen months of experience in a human services delivery system including at least one year in a comparable program

Certification/License:    Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

CPR certified within the last 2 years
