As a Business Development Representative, you will work to find new business opportunities, qualify leads from marketing campaigns, and build long-term trusting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Skills

  • 0-1+ years of Channel Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within the Shopify, or similar ecosystem
  • Sales and/or success experience in the E-commerce space
  • Ability to prospect and find key decision-makers
  • Strong demonstrable project management skills
  • Understanding of and ability to execute a SaaS sales model including post-sale support
  • A demonstrated skill with co-marketing or lead generation via content
  • Ability to work remotely effectively
  • Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Set and exceed ambitious targets including quotas with a growth mindset
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
