[Remote] Data Scientist – Healthcare Journey Analytics

As a Data Scientist in Healthcare Journey Analytics, you will collaborate with various teams to analyze healthcare journeys and develop algorithms to assist health plan members in understanding their conditions and making informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, IT, Clinical, Product, Design, Marketing, and more
- Analyze, develop, and optimize condition specific healthcare journeys for health plan members
- Build and utilize algorithms to identify clinical conditions (or risk of clinical conditions)
- Evaluate intervention opportunities and approach
- Develop member facing campaigns to help members better understand their condition journey and to make informed decisions
Skills
- 1+ years of relevant healthcare analytics work experience
- Experience with health insurance claims data analytics
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong knowledge of Python and/or R
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams / workgroups
- Masters degree in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Population Health Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Healthcare journey analytics experience
- Healthcare campaigns/intervention development and optimization experience
- Adept at problem solving and decision making
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at verbal and written communication
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting)
