[Remote] DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amatriot (formerly GovTact) is looking for a junior to mid-level DevOps Engineer to join their team in support of the US Department of Veterans Affairs on a remote basis. The role involves implementing, testing, and deploying infrastructure as code, as well as developing and maintaining automated configuration of servers and services in the AWS environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test and deploy infrastructure as code with e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Develop and maintain automated configuration of servers and services in the AWS environment
- Monitoring and maintaining infrastructure services as knowledge and experience increase
Skills
- Bachelors in software engineering or related field
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with IAC technologies
- Knowledge of DBMS and SQL
- Knowledge of Git
- US Citizenship
- 1-4 years work experience
- Experience with Jenkins, other AWS services, Ansible, Jenkinsfile, python, java
- Experience with bash scripting
- Knowledge of basic AWS cloud services such as EC2 and lambda
- Basic knowledge of networking and cloud services
