As a Field Service Technician, you will provide essential support and service for clients' shipping and mailing technology, ensuring a high-quality client experience through installation, troubleshooting, and training.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for our clients
  • Support both Hardware and Software solutions
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment successfully with the goal of reducing Client callbacks
  • Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installation
  • Work in a 100% client facing capacity as a representative of Pitney Bowes
  • Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield time
  • Utilize hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations of Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Skills

  • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • The ability to lift 55 lbs + with or without accommodation
  • The ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time
  • The ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of time
  • Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and Networking
  • Experience with automated equipment
