[Remote] FOIA Paralegal

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lawyers On Demand is currently seeking skilled applicants for a temporary FOIA Paralegal position for a public sector client. The role involves supporting the client in responding to FOIA requests, maintaining confidentiality, and communicating with requestors.

Responsibilities

• Support the client in their goal to respond to roughly a dozen FOIA requests that require manual review of a high volume of documents and emails
• Maintain client privilege and confidentiality at all times
• Support client communications with requestors to narrow scope and request reasonable time frames on response turnaround

Skills

• Prior experience handling FOIA requests and responses is required
• Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment handling aforementioned FOIA duties is strongly preferred
• Preferred candidates will have a high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills
