[Remote] Junior Analyst / Newsletter Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Finimize is a company focused on delivering financial insights to a large audience. They are seeking a Junior Analyst / Newsletter Writer to collaborate with the content team in creating daily financial newsletters and engaging with the community through social media.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the content team to write Finimize’s daily and weekly financial newsletters
- Scan the day’s newsflow and select the stories that matter most
- Write stories and related content in the Finimize style and format
- Develop and write insightful takeaways that help readers connect the dots
- Upload and manage content in systems including Wagtail, Sailthru, and WordPress
- Select and curate daily content features such as Graph Of The Day and On Our Radar
- Create compelling social media posts and actively engage with our community across different platforms
Skills
- Experience analyzing, discussing, and/or writing about financial markets (direct analyst experience or internships is a plus)
- Familiarity with best practices in social media content management
- Strong ability to understand and explain macroeconomic trends and financial concepts
- Ability to interpret and explain the performance of individual companies
- Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrable writing skills and full professional fluency in English
- Willingness to work according to the newsflow (some late nights required) and meet tight deadlines
- A genuine passion for financial markets and investing
