[Remote] Legal Assistant - Discovery

The role involves assisting clients with document preparation and privilege identification in construction dispute cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in locating and providing information and documents responsive to requests
• Prepare first drafts of answers and responses to discovery, including objecting where appropriate
• Identify documents and communications we need to assert are privileged, and complete privilege logs

Skills

• Experience responding to discovery requests in a practice area where discovery requests are not standardized or form-driven
• Ability to assist clients in locating and providing information and documents responsive to requests
• Ability to prepare first drafts of answers and responses to discovery, including objecting where appropriate
• Ability to identify documents and communications that need to be asserted as privileged and complete privilege logs
• Experience with Florida Courts
• Experience with Construction Law
