They are seeking a part-time Administrative Support Specialist to assist the Chief of Staff with various operational tasks, emphasizing organization and reliability in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize/log receipts, maintain expense trackers in QuickBooks, match expenses to categories, flag missing/unclear items (no budgeting or decision-making)
- Manage meeting invites, confirmations, reschedules; handle basic calendar adjustments and reminders
- Maintain orderly Dropbox structure, enforce naming conventions, ensure current versions and easy navigation
- Execute routine tasks like confirming memberships/events, following up on submissions, and closing simple loops (no judgment required)
Skills
- Active Military Spouse with proven reliability and attention to detail
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle repetitive, execution-heavy tasks with consistency
- Excellent written English; comfortable with remote collaboration (email, Slack, Zoom)
- U.S.-based
- Coachable, mission-aligned individual passionate about supporting a veteran-led startup preserving legacies for military families
- Experience with Dropbox, ClickUp, Excel, and calendar tools (Google/Outlook) strongly preferred
- Understanding of military lifestyle and priorities a plus
