[Remote] People Operations Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to enhance employee experience and support People & Culture initiatives. The role involves managing employee records, responding to inquiries, and improving HR processes within a rapidly growing sports technology company.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding to HR through a ticketing system and direct communication, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and related systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Generate reports and analyze data to support departmental needs, ensuring accuracy and proactively resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, employment information changes, and required documentation
- Support People & Culture initiatives by contributing to projects that improve processes, enhance the employee experience, and streamline workflows, including the development of documentation and resources
- Manage compliance tracking efforts and assist with audit preparation to ensure organizational compliance
Skills
- Experience in a People or Human Resources role, or a degree in HR Management
- Basic understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance management
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Familiarity with labor laws and workplace compliance regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of comfort with software tools and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
- Experience working at a start-up and/or in the technology or athletics industries
- Experience with HRIS platforms and other HR platforms
