The Junior Sales Representative is responsible for driving top-of-funnel activity through outbound prospecting, research, and sales process support, focusing on generating outbound activity and maintaining clean CRM data.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach via email sequences, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Research and identify potential organizations, contacts, and buying roles
  • Craft personalized messaging aligned with Sidecar’s value proposition
  • Book introductory conversations and support early-stage qualification
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records, including contacts, activities, notes, tasks, and deal statuses
  • Assist in organizing and updating the sales pipeline for visibility and accuracy
  • Provide support for follow-up tasks, notes, and preparation for sales engagement
  • Assist with reporting by gathering and validating key sales data
  • Support creation of proposals, quotes, sales collateral, and other client-facing documents
  • Coordinate sales-related logistics and ensure required documents are complete and accurate
  • Assist with event-related outreach lists, pre-event targeting, and post-event follow-up
  • Identify opportunities to streamline or automate parts of the outbound and sales support process
  • Research and test tools to increase outreach volume or improve productivity
  • Implement small workflow enhancements and document emerging best practices
  • Report on measurable improvements in efficiency and output
  • Work with marketing on targeted campaigns, outreach lists, and messaging alignment
  • Support interdepartmental needs tied to the sales process
  • Participate in internal meetings to stay aligned with sales and organizational priorities

Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, operations, or a related field (internships accepted)
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, able to work independently and drive tasks forward
  • Highly responsible with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills, especially in outreach and professional emails
  • Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Results-oriented with interest in improving processes and exploring automation using AI
  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) is a plus
  • Interest in AI, professional education, or the association sector is beneficial but not required
