Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TRAFFIX is a Third-Party Logistics leader with over 40 years of experience, seeking a Sales Executive to help achieve branch targets and business goals. The role involves identifying supply chain challenges for companies and presenting TRAFFIX’s services as solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for companies that ship freight within North America
  • Researching companies/contacts, preparing for initial call
  • Cold calling and/or cold emailing prospects to initiate conversations
  • Identifying business opportunities within new and current customers
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Monitoring trends and changes in customer purchase behavior and following up to determine the root cause
  • Collaborating with TRAFFIX experts to set up discovery calls and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers
  • Lead your team in generating pricing strategies that fit the client’s budget while supporting the success of the branch
  • Be accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

Skills

  • 1-3 years of successful experience working in transportation and logistics
  • Experience in a customer sales role for at least 1 year
  • Ability to bypass gatekeepers and identify decision-makers
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Incentive-driven and passionate about hunting for new business
  • Ability to cultivate lasting customer relationships
  • Efficiently handle client challenges using emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with prospects from medium-sized companies to C-Suite executives of Fortune 500 corporations
  • Problem solver who generates solutions for client challenges
  • Desire for constant growth and not getting comfortable
  • 3PL experience is an asset
  • Experience operating in transportation and logistics for 4+ years for Senior Sales Executive
