A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with telehealth and specialty nursing experience to support an initial Individualized Education Program (IEP) review. This assignment focuses on the careful review of medical records and preparing a detailed Medical History summary to assist in the IEP consultation process.

Location: Santa Barbara, CA (Virtual support acceptable)

Key responsibilities include:
• Reviewing pertinent medical records related to the students health
• Compiling a comprehensive Medical History summary to inform the IEP team
• Participating in the IEP initial review meeting as a clinical nursing consultant
• Supporting adherence to healthcare and educational regulations during the evaluation process

Desired qualifications:
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in telehealth nursing and/or specialty nursing practices
• Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based healthcare documentation
• Ability to analyze medical information accurately and communicate clinical findings effectively
• Comfort with virtual platforms for remote consultation when onsite presence is not possible
