[Remote] Software Engineer (All Levels)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ExoAnalytic Solutions is a defense technology company developing cutting-edge modeling, simulation, and analytics tools to support mission-critical defense and space systems. The Software Engineer role involves developing advanced software and applications for space and missile defense missions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver impactful software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software frameworks and applications
- Lead or support technical design, implementation, and testing depending on experience level
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and domain experts across multiple technical areas
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Contribute to simulation, visualization, or modeling systems supporting missile defense and space missions
- Continuously improve software performance, reliability, and user experience
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, C, Java)
- Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub)
- Exposure to one or more of the following areas: Real-time embedded software development, 3D visualization or graphics programming, Simulation or game engine development, Systems modeling, behavior modeling, or control theory, Aerodynamics, Orbital dynamics or model-based systems engineering
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Years of experience for entry-level, 4–8 for mid-level, or 8+ for senior-level candidates
- Experience in sensors for missile defense or space applications
- Experience with digital twin development, 6-DOF simulations, or modeling of space and missile defense systems
- Experience developing optimal guidance and control software for interceptors and/or kill vehicles
- Experience in missile defense or space systems design, modeling and simulations, wargaming, or defense applications
- Experience developing real-time embedded software on RTOS (VxWorks, RTEMS, or similar)
- Experience with Unity3D, Unreal, OpenGL, WebGL, or DirectX
- Experience with DevSecOps and microservice architectures
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing or software quality for mission-critical systems
- Passion for innovation in space systems, modeling, and simulation technologies
