Remote Software Engineer - Amazon DynamoDB
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Software Engineer to join our Amazon DynamoDB team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on automation, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on automation, scalability, and performance
- Lead the development of end-to-end automation solutions for DynamoDB's framework lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Mentor junior engineers, provide guidance, and support their career development
Requirements:
- 5+ years of non-temporary job professional software development experience
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one programming language
- 3+ years of experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading a design team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
