About the Role

This virtual Special Education Teacher position supports K–12 students across New Hampshire through remote instruction and IEP-based services. The role focuses on specially designed instruction, compliance, and collaboration with school teams to support student achievement in a structured virtual setting.

Responsibilities
• Deliver virtual special education instruction aligned with student IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Track student progress and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and team consultations
• Support accommodations, modifications, and instructional planning

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification
• School-based special education experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance requirements
• Experience providing virtual or remote instruction preferred
• Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
