Role Overview

As a TelaVets Veterinarian, you’ll conduct virtual consultations through our secure VetLog EMR system, helping pet owners address non-emergency concerns, triage cases, and prescribe medications when appropriate. Our platform integrates with Zoom and 1-800-PetMeds for a seamless client and doctor experience.

You’ll enjoy full control over your schedule, daily pay, and support from a responsive operations team.

What You’ll Do
• Conduct virtual consultations with pet owners
• Assess symptoms, provide medical advice, and create treatment plans
• Prescribe medications when medically appropriate via our partner pharmacy
• Document appointments using TelaVets’ easy VetLog EMR templates
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and client-centered communication

Requirements
• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Active, unrestricted veterinary license in at least one U.S. state
• Strong communication and client education skills
• Comfortable with technology and virtual consultations
• Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional work environment

Preferred (Not Required)
• Multi-state licensure
• Experience with telemedicine or virtual consults
• Familiarity with small animal or poultry medicine
