Research Assistant - POSTGRADUATE WAYNE LAW KEITH CENTER FELLOW

They are seeking a recent law school graduate for a one-year Post-Graduate Research Assistant Fellowship at the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, where the fellow will assist with research, writing, and program development related to civil rights initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Center operations
- Engage in research and writing
- Assist in program development and implementation
- Assist in research and content development of the Center's new Detroit Democracy Project
- Assist with special events and activities
Skills
- J.D. from a Counsel-accredited law school is required
- The applicant must be a Class of 2025 graduate from a Counsel-accredited law school
- Have an interest in civil rights
- Candidates must be able to engage in research and writing at a high level
- Exercise independent judgment
- Responsibly manage multiple projects
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Complete assignments with minimal supervision
