Warehouse Direct is looking for driven Account Executives who share a commitment to excellence, innovation, and results. The Account Executive will promote and sell the company's workplace products, equipment, and services through strategic prospecting and effective account management.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt and acquire new business accounts through phone prospecting and in-person meetings
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities from both company-provided leads and self-generated prospects
  • Conduct one-on-one client meetings to provide tailored solutions from our extensive catalog featuring over 80,000 quality products
  • Transition from primarily phone-based selling (70%) to a balanced approach of phone and field selling (50/50) as your territory develops
  • Be proactive in establishing new business relationships and maximizing category penetration within those accounts
  • Work in tandem with internal teams to meet client expectations and deliverables
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in both virtual and face-to-face settings
  • Travel locally within your territory - no overnight travel required

Skills

  • Sales experience, preferably in business-to-business sales
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated hunter mentality with a track record of new business development
  • Ability to manage both phone-based and in-person sales activities effectively
