Silq is focused on building the largest sustainable global shipping network, leveraging technology and data to simplify shipping processes. The Founding Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in establishing the sales development function, pursuing leads, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage supply chain leaders at ICP-aligned companies through outbound outreach and discovery conversations
  • Consistently generate qualified meetings that convert into ~8 Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) per month
  • Maintain a clean, intentional pipeline focused on fit and timing
  • Meet weekly activity expectations across calls, email, and social channels
  • Run structured outreach with a bias toward learning what works and why
  • Log interactions accurately in the CRM to ensure real visibility into pipeline and performance
  • Communicate Silq’s value clearly across technology, service, and execution—not buzzwords
  • Work closely with Account Executives to refine qualification, handoff, and follow-up
  • Participate in improving targeting, messaging, and sales development processes
  • Raise issues early and contribute to solutions that make the system better
